In 2011, I published my second Floyd book, illustrated a ghost story book, and created additional art for the new Floyd video. I was very excited to be part of the East Fairhaven School Author Fair and guest reader at Partners Village Store and the Fairhaven Farmers Market. I met many new friends of all ages at these and other events this year.
Looking forward to 2012, after a big home renovation I am excited to finish the room and get back to work on projects in my home studio space. I'll be working on a third Floyd book, and the ghost story book I illustrated last summer for author Margareta Pothier should be in print at some point this year. The new Floyd video will be going through final production. Already in January, I'll make two appearances a "guest lecturer" for an American International College children's literature course instructed by my friend and editor Andrea Melo. It's already a busy year, and it's just started!
Wishing everyone a very happy and healthy new year! I don't believe in resolutions, just do your best at everything whenever possible, enjoy life, and be grateful.
